INTO THE HEART OF IT: The Chakra System as a Map for Human Evolution (1.5 CE credits)
Saturday evening, October 26, 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Open to the public

The chakra system is an ancient model for personal transformation and a road map for our collective journey. Emanating from the deep core within us, the chakras organize the life force energy in the true yoke of yoga – connecting mind and body, spirit and matter, heaven and earth, within one continuous whole. This integration of polarities opens the heart, and leads us to the next stage of our collective evolution, an awakening so profound it could be called the 2nd Enlightenment.

Objectives:
  1. Students will be introduced to the history and meaning of the chakra system, as an antidote to today’s trivialization of this system.
  2. Students will gain a model of energy medicine as the meeting point of mind and body based on computer modeling of hardware and software interface.
  3. Students will be shown how the chakra system gives organizational structure to the understanding of energy medicine and provides a map for the personal and collective journey.
  4. Students will understand where we are in this journey and what we can do to facilitate our awakening.

Anodea Judith, Ph.D. is a leading edge thinker, internationally-recognized writer, teacher and speaker on evolutionary psychology based on the chakra system, body/mind integration, somatic therapy, and the ancient arts of yoga.  She is one of the foremost authorities on the therapeutic application of the chakra system, a popular workshop presenter, and evolutionary activist.
